JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for defining, developing and delivering RingCentral’s software, video and messaging products, features, platform and integration to ensure they meet the needs of tech-savvy customers and clients.
JOB DUTIES:
- Sheparding and growing RingCentral’s library of applications and features based on customer and business needs;
- Understanding and prioritizing the functional needs of clients;
- Defining functional requirements and user experience for features and products;
- Developing and executing product strategies, with a keen focus on usability, versatility and competitiveness;
- Collaborating with cross-functional Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to plan, design, develop and refine large sets of technical products and features;
- Working with cross-functional teams to define and carry out product go-to-market strategies;
- Understanding the competitive landscape within the industry and evaluating industry trends to inform feature prioritization decisions;
- Defining success metrics and tracking success of software products and features;
- Identifying and assessing new opportunities in the software application ecosystem relevant to the company’s strategy;
- Managing dependencies, defining requirements and prioritizing backlog for development and integration of applications and features.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS & OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
- Experience with Java, SQL, CSS, HTML, web-based User Interfaces, User Interface design patterns, go-to-market strategy (Sales and Marketing) for Software as a Service products, Scrum and Jira project management tools, developing cloud applications, written presentations, creating mockups and wireframes, developing/establishing KPIs for software products is required.
