Mission:

As the Product Manager, you will have ownership over the Finance & Operations analytics use case at Fivetran. Your guiding metric will be the volume of Finance & Operations data flowing through Fivetran. You will learn what questions analysts are trying to answer, decide what data sources they need and design great data schemas to drive analytical success. You will oversee quality assurance of the data and ensure we prioritize the fixes. Finally, you will collaborate with analytics to create pre-built reporting on top of the data in collaboration with our key BI partners. You will work directly with multiple engineering teams and a data analytics team to ensure Fivetran is delivering the highest quality data possible. Your success makes product & engineering analysts more productive and look like superheroes to their teams.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the data experience for finance & operations analysts using Fivetran data pipelines.
• Research, define, prioritize, and evangelize the Fivetran finance & operations analytics product roadmap for making improvements to the data we deliver through our pipelines
• Orchestrate the delivery of amazing data-related improvements by partnering with marketing, customer support, and other functions in the company
• Work closely with sales, support, and customer success to resolve critical and emerging issues
• Relentlessly communicate and anchor the Fivetran product experience to our mission of enabling analysts to do their jobs without relying on engineers
• Create internal practices, supportive co-development mechanisms, and product/design guidance that promote the development of exceptional data experiences across the entire product development organization
• Assist in training new hires, colleagues, partners and our fan club on the workings of Fivetran, both current and upcoming

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience performing deep data analyses for 4+ different business functions, such as: Financial ROI predictions, Revenue recognition forecast, Cash flow analysis, Supply chain analysis, Inventory routing optimization, Cost reduction analysis
• Great data design excites you!
• Proven track record of shipping data products that deliver measurable results.
• Proven ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.
• Demonstrated experience using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with a confirmed ability to influence partners.
• BS in science, engineering, or equivalent technical and analytical acumen.
• Advanced experience with SQL.
