About the Role

Have a passion of helping people through technology? Come help Rocket Lawyer disrupt the legal industry and live up to our mission to make the law simple and affordable. This is a new role, specifically focused on helping our existing customers (hundreds of thousands!) get more out of Rocket Lawyer! You'll work closely with a business manager and a full product team to iterate fast in response to data, talk to customers to understand their needs, prioritize work & ideas, run experiments, launch new programs, and get a deep understanding of our product. A Day in the Life

• Drive the Product strategy regarding the full Rocket Lawyer member journey from selecting relevant plan types, managing the full lifecycle of the subscription plan, ensuring customer satisfaction, and encouraging product usage and engagement
• Deeply understand the needs of our current and future members through quantitative and qualitative customer research. Passionately represent the voice of the customer as you build products and experiments
• Prioritize features and experiments using data-driven analysis, business insights, and sound judgment
• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and experiments, specifically as it relates to lifetime value of our members
• Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of products and experiments that help our members solve their legal problems
• Collaborate with your cross-functional team of Design, User Experience, Engineering, QA, and Content to bring product to market
• Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive environment

About You

• Product Leader: An experienced Product Manager with 3+ years of software Product Development experience ideally in a B2C/ecommerce role that focuses on delivering front-end web experiences and driving KPI growth
• Passionate about mission-driven work: personal passion for solving legal problems is a plus
• Inspired by technology: Excited about the possibilities that lie in technology-based solutions; not afraid to tinker around in prototyping tools, write a SQL query, or test out a new technology
• Self Starter: Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment
• Team Player: A creative problem solver who inspires innovation across the entire team and enjoys working with other talented Product Managers to solve complex problems
• Data-Driven: Not afraid to take a deep dive into our metrics whether to diagnose a problem, evaluate a solution or propose a new KPI
• Ships Loveable Product: Has an eye for details and an understanding of how they can affect the quality and understandability of an experience. Won’t ship a bad experience but also knows when perfection is the enemy of the good
• Strong Communicator: Excellent at presenting up to the Executive level; builds strong relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders
