About The Team
This position will be part of the Product Growth, Monetization & Retention team. Our charter is to increase both the rate of growth and the net number of Crunchryoll’s freemium users and subscribers. Primary mechanisms to do so are through optimizing owned & operated platforms and 3rd party integrations. We then use meaningful metrics to measure how effective we are at moving new users to become loyal freemium users or subscribers.
About You:
- Min of 2-3 years of product management or similar experience
- Streaming media is part of your daily life!
- Think data analysis is fun and can write basic SQL queries
- Not a data scientist, but understand how subscriptions work to generate perceived value and how to measure their influence
- Devised and been surprised by an experiment result
- Find launching features and measuring impact exciting!
- Experience working with 3rd party partners and integrations
A day in the life of our PM of Subscription Benefits & Retention:
- Optimize overall retention of subscribers through activation & engagement with streaming and non-streaming tier benefits.
- Define or optimize micro service(s) that consolidates all sources of entitlement and their associated benefits.
- Be responsible for subscription tier features, 3rd party integrated benefits, membership pricing and reporting globally
- Optimizing, defining and driving new features that can increase the perceived value of a membership.
- Form relationships with internal Business Unit partners like eCommerce, Games & News that could help increase subscription membership value

Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status
