About the Role: 

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for paving the way for automated aviation, expanding Wing’s ability to manage UAS operations globally and at scale, and enabling effective integration of UAS into the airspace. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience launching safety related products based on analytics and simulation results, ability to rapidly simplify complex topics, and works effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Guide products from conception to launch including functional and technical requirements, formulating, and defining system scope, integration requirements, and objectives
  • Communicate product vision and capabilities to regulators and aviation audiences 
  • Apply analytical skills to extract insights from large and complex datasets to inform product strategy and quality analysis
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, legal, standards etc. on cutting edge technologies while managing dependencies, risk and tight schedules

What You’ll Need: 

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of product management or related experience
  • Experience with product management or system engineering focus on automation, data, safety
  • Experience with Aviation data including Weather, Aircraft and Simulation Analysis
  • Strategy and analytical skills; Ability to gather and analyze large quantities of information, and turn them into a thoughtful and compelling product vision, including economics/business plan
  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies
