Quartzy is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for our e-commerce business. In this highly visible role, this person will own growing our e-commerce business targeted to both non-profit and for-profit customer segments. 


Quartzy is a 100% distributed team so this role can be done anywhere in the US.

What You'll Do

  • Personas: Who decides to use our Quartzy Shop? Who influences the decision maker? What are the demographics, psychographics, pain points and business outcomes for each persona?
  • Buyer Journey Map: Define the customer journey from awareness through to becoming an e-commerce customer, and becoming a repeat customer and active advocate for the Quartzy Shop.
  • Customer behavior analysis: Know what categories customers do and don’t buy and why. Develop marketing campaigns to grow share of wallet at the category level and overall.
  • Product Story: What problem does using the Quartzy Shop solve? What business outcomes are being achieved? What makes our product unique and what do we do that competitors don't?
  • Product-Focused Content: This person will create and test various versions of marketing copy, blog content, case studies, and landing pages - all dedicated to effectively describing the Quartzy Shop and the benefits customers get from using it.
  • Product Launch Plan: This person will be responsible for developing a written launch plan for new features and capabilities being added over time, spelling out every last stage and who's responsible at each point.
  • Community Engagement: This person will generates buzz around the Quartzy Shop. This includes reaching out to supplier partners to develop Supplier Events and promotions, and working with existing customers for quotes, stories and commentary.
  • Sales Enablement: This person will develop collateral for sales to efficiently communicate the value and benefits from using the Quartzy Shop. This ensures the messaging created will be consistently used by Sales and Customer Success all the way interest to use to expansion and advocacy.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in an e-commerce company, preferably in the life sciences industry
  • Comfortable using analytical and CRM tools - Salesforce, Looker.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools - Hubspot, and Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical and ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is–or isn’t—working
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
  • Must be a strong story teller and public speaker
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
