Product Marketing Manager, Team Central
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.
Job description
The Team Central marketing team combines the adrenaline rush of grassroots startup marketing with the reliable wisdom of a successful enterprise go-to-market engine. If you’re scrappy but practical; someone who asks forgiveness, not permission and the type of marketer who challenges the status quo, this is the role for you.
We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to develop a playbook for community and partner enablement for Atlassian’s newest product. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and curating targeted content to enable our community of passionate users and Atlassian Partners with a goal of helping customer teams adopt healthier and more effective cross-functional communication practices, powered by Atlassian’s newest cloud product, Team Central. This is a unique opportunity to envision and experiment with fresh ways to promote a first-of-its-kind B2B communication product in order to define (and win!) a completely new market category.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead programs to grow our community and advocacy groups
- Develop and execute an enablement program to incentivize Atlassian’s army of solution partners
- Forge partnerships with future-of-work influencers and 3rd party partners to amplify our message and convert decision-makers from consideration to active customers
- Build customer success stories across a variety of mediums (video, blogs, events, case studies, webinars, social media, etc.) and handle promotion
- Gain insight into customer’s use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas
- Envision, execute and continuously optimize educational content; how to get started, onboarding guides, etc;
- Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the benefits of our product and cross-functional communication best practices
More about you:
- You have 3+ years of work experience with 1-3 years of marketing (product, community, or content) experience in B2B and/or B2C software
- You're a phenomenal communicator and have experience leading successful cross-functional projects
- You’d love to spend your days writing (if it paid the bills) and can find some humor in any topic you write about
- You’re familiar with project management frameworks (bonus if you have Project/Program management certifications!)
- You’re confident in your ability to define and execute a successful community engagement strategy
- You have experience building enablement programs from scratch to educate, empower and incentivize our partners across GTM
- You’re an opportunistic social media marketer with experience running successful B2B customer acquisition campaigns
More about our team
As part of Atlassian’s newly launched, Point A, group, the Team Central marketing team works hand-in-hand with our partners in product management, engineering and design to help define the market, find product-market fit, and refine product experiences as we better understand the pains of our current and future customers.
When we’re not partnering with the product team to inform the product vision, we’re working in lockstep with our end-to-end marketing teams: field marketing, demand generation, interactive, creative, and data analysts to achieve our lofty customer acquisition goals! This is a very cross-functional role, perfect for someone who is excited about finding the opportunity amidst the chaos and who is confident in their ability to prioritize and deliver measurable results in a world of never-ending opportunity.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
