Product Marketing Manager, Solutions

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a passionate Product Marketing Manager, Solutions who loves focusing on customers and creating dynamic solutions for them.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
- Become an expert on Benchling and develop solution positioning across prioritized customer use cases
- Create amazing solution marketing content including solution messaging, presentations, demos, and competitive positioning
- Partner with sales on building an effective sales process that showcases the differentiated business value of Benchling solutions
- Participate in sales deals to gather first-hand intelligence on customer needs and concerns
- Deliver valuable tools to sales teams and run regular sales training sessions
- Field ad hoc content and support requests from the sales team
- Collaborate on marketing programs including events, webinars, and thought-leadership content
ABOUT YOU
- Solid track record of professional experience, ideally in product and solution marketing roles within enterprise B2B software or technology companies
- Strong familiarity with the biotechnology industry and high intellectual curiosity to learn about the exciting work that takes place in Research and Development
- Life science experience and subject matter expertise is highly desirable, coming through education, lab experience, consulting, and/or professional experience. Ideally focused in current areas of Benchling solution coverage, including antibodies, cell and gene therapy, agritech, industrial biotech, process development, small molecule, and associated R&D functions such as NGS.
- Outstanding ability to convey value proposition and insights drawing from prior industry experience and acquired familiarity with Benchling products and use cases
- Polished presenter with executive presence, can serve as trusted advisor to highly technical audience (research scientists, managers, executives)
- Sharp, analytical, and willing to question the status quo
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a dynamic, confident personality
