SaaS Procurement Specialist
Grammarly offers a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely. Teams will meet in person every quarter in one of Grammarly’s hubs, currently in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, and Kyiv. To ensure that teams are able to overlap in their working hours and to meet face-to-face when needed, all team members need to live within three time zones of their direct team.
Grammarly team members who will be collaborating at our Kyiv hub must be based in Ukraine.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a SaaS Procurement Specialist to own the cloud vendor management process at Grammarly. The ideal candidate will have the ability to proactively approach new services onboarding and renewals, identify savings opportunities and deliver them following the SLO (Service Level Objectives).
As a SaaS Procurement Specialist at Grammarly, you will have a monumental impact on the tremendous growth and success of the company as we scale, building transparent processes and relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Your impact
You will have access to a modern technology stack and gain the experience of work with top tier SaaS suppliers, such as Amazon, Sumo Logic, Zendesk, among hundreds of others.
Joining our team is a great chance to evolve with a Procurement function in a product organization. We operate globally, as we typically work closely with vendors’ US-based headquarters and have few relationships with local Ukrainian distributors or resellers.
- Within the first 30 days, you will get familiar with the existing vendor management process, establish meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, get up to speed on all systems and technologies, and start to coordinate new vendor review requests.By month three, you will follow the existing described vendor management process without external supervision and set a proactive approach to renewals.
- By month nine, you will own the SaaS/IaaS tracking system (G2Track), follow vendor review timing objectives and transparently communicate them to internal stakeholders.
- By year one and beyond, you will closely work with the Engineering function and the top-spend services’ business owners to build a category strategy for the upcoming years.

- Can further improve the procurement process, including assessing timing, usage, competitors, pricing, and risks.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of sourcing experience in technology or engineering sourcing experience
- Understand SaaS licensing model in-depthDemonstrated experience forging relationships with executives, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Has experience leading ongoing projects, with an ability to influence others without a mandate or formal policy.
