The Role:

 Your Primary Responsibility: IT Ops, NOC, DevOps and SRE managers, architects, admins and teams in large, complex enterprises are hungry for modern AI/ML-powered tools to help them support their businesses and be more productive during the day, and sleep better at night. You will be responsible for helping them understand how BigPanda’s AIOps-powered Event Correlation and Automation platform does that.

Your Background: Ideally, you’ve marketed modern Monitoring / Observability / ITSM and related products for at least four years (Sr Manager) or at least seven years (Director), understand the needs of practitioners in those domains, and you’re able to translate BigPanda’s positioning into crisp and compelling messaging aimed at those personas. 

But...we also realize that many amazing technical product marketers have a wealth of experience in other enterprise software domains, and if that’s you, we’d love to connect! If you have experience with AI/ML-powered B2B products, that’s a nice bonus too!

Success in this Role: Success in this role means leading and owning strategic technical marketing initiatives including: tailored demos and technical storytelling for prospects, analysts, partners and the press; technical competitive analysis; owning the technical elements of product launches; and technical content creation including whitepapers, datasheets and narratives for videos!

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate BigPanda’s positioning and messaging into technical positioning and messaging for technical personas.
  • Create technical white papers, technical product presentations, infographics, technical briefs and product videos to support BigPanda sales and marketing initiatives nurturing technical personas.
  • Use BigPanda value cases to develop use case-specific and/or industry specific (over time) demo scripts and associated demos, if and as needed
  • Evangelize BigPanda to technical prospects at conferences, events, webinars, trade shows, and other avenues. 
  • Demo BigPanda to analysts, press and other key influencers, and discuss BigPanda’s platform capabilities, to strengthen BigPanda’s POV and influence.
  • Support product launches by building relevant technical product content (demos / videos / data sheets / website content); liaise with analysts and/or technical media on launches if necessary
  • Explore competitive products, demos etc and develop research on technical differentiation for comp intel efforts.

 

Key Requirements:

  • You are driven to excel and succeed, but you’re low-ego and an enthusiastic team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years (for the Director role) or a minimum of 4 years (for the Sr Manager role) of technical marketing experience. 
  • Ideally, your experience is with fast-growth SaaS products in monitoring, observability, ITSM, IT operations, DevOps and/or infrastructure automation. But we also welcome experience with SaaS-based tools in other enterprise software domains too, especially anything powered by AI/ML. 
  • Your writing demonstrates clear, logical thinking by weaving together end user needs and product features into compelling arguments that anticipate objections and foster adoption.
  • You take ownership of problems, take on big challenges and drive through resolution.  You thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and the need to intelligently adapt.
