About the Role
We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager who has an exceptional user-centric consumer product approach and deep fintech experience. Someone to help drive and innovate on the core consumer experiences at Chime - getting paid two days early (Chime’s core value prop!), faster access to funds, paying bills, managing cash, depositing checks etc. Overall taking our consumer banking experience to the next level - helping people manage their money and achieve financial peace of mind.
Product Managers at Chime are cross-functional leaders, charting the course not just for the technology and user experience, but for the entire business.
You will build strategy, develop product roadmaps, and partner closely with engineering, design, research, analytics, and others to enhance our current offering and deliver new services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation, design, technical development, and launch of innovative products
- Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to impactful outcomes
- Be data-informed and also user-centric in your approach
- Ship minimum-loveable-products that test hypotheses while delivering a quality customer experience
Requirements
- Prior Consumer Product and fintech experience a plus
- An owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff
- Experience designing intuitive mobile user interfaces and executing product plans with a well-defined process
- Experience conducting user research to inform product strategy and solution design
- Strong analytical skills, competence in SQL, and experience with tools for doing data analysis
- Empathy for users and a drive to discover and resolve their pain points
- Experience at a fast-growing startup in a cross-functional environment
- Passion for our mission: helping members financial peace of mind
- Strong collaboration in team environments but also able to act quickly as the decision-maker
