About the role

This next year Good Eggs is embarking on a large redesign of its consumer products and we are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead this strategic initiative. You will be collaborating with our Sr. Product Designer to build out the product vision and the end-to-end customer experience. You will have a clear, measurable impact on the business.

Additionally, it is a year centered on growth of the business and we will look to you to help with key initiatives and ways to optimize acquisition. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to build a roadmap that supports Good Eggs’ strategy and meets the needs of our customers. 

 

The position will orchestrate designers and engineers to set team direction, remove roadblocks, and reach measurable company goals. You will clearly communicate project vision to stakeholders. 

Major responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team and other stakeholders to define a product roadmap that supports our larger strategic goals.
  • Guide team in the development of project requirements, plans and timelines, and in weekly story writing, estimation and prioritization.
  • Support team with prioritization and decision-making throughout the planning, design and development cycles.
  • Ensure team understands current strategic and team-level goals, progress against goals and how any given project contributes. Surface key metrics, perform research and analyze data along the way.
  • Act as the point person for team in communications with key stakeholders, including the executive team, marketing, product support, warehouse & distribution operations and customer service.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and advocate relentlessly for a better shopping experience on their behalf through market research, analysis, A/B tests, participation in user testing, etc.
  • Facilitate decision-making and problem-solving
  • Risk management of all potential risks in order to mitigate and prevent it
  • Work with 3rd party vendors and agencies as needed

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of e-commerce or consumer product management experience
  • Proven experience activating cross-functional teams to create solutions that balance business needs and company mission, meeting measurable goals within specific timelines
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment and balancing needs of many stakeholders
  • Organized and analytical in approach
  • Exceptional communication skills in written, visual, and verbal form
  • Strong instincts around consumer behaviour and conversion
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, or a strong desire to learn these practices
  • Experience growing with a fast-paced start-up
  • Familiarity with current web, mobile, and database technologies and designs
  • Experience managing product development of mobile apps a plus
  • Bonus: Experience in migrating from in house systems to 3rd party platforms a plus
