Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Cloud Regulated Industries (West Coast US- Remote)
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.
The Cloud Platform team at Atlassian is transforming how companies adopt Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, and more. Our team builds new offerings designed to serve the needs of Enterprise customers as they adopt our SaaS offerings. Our services are built to solve the security, administration, compliance, and governance needs of thousands of enterprise customers. Atlassian’s unique self-serve model means our shared cloud platform is critical to operating our products efficiently in the cloud. In this role, you’ll help scale that model to the largest companies in the world.
As Senior Product Manager in the Enterprise Cloud team, you will be responsible for driving our roadmap for Regulated Industries. Whether it’s HIPAA compliance, NIST 800.53 controls, or FedRAMP, you’ll take on big product problems and deliver comprehensive solutions.
This role requires building a deep understanding of enterprise cloud software compliance requirements, the ability to ruthlessly prioritize them, the technical know-how and business experience to partner closely with engineering, and a cross-disciplinary team across the company to execute on the roadmap you own.
In this role, you will focus on:
- Ensuring Atlassian cloud products are ready to satisfy the compliance needs of customers migrating from on-premises deployments.
- Deeply understanding our largest customers requirements in the compliance space for cloud software and building a roadmap to address their needs
- Defining product strategy for regulated industry compliance, own end-to-end development of your roadmap, and partner with the engineering and design teams.
- Working with Atlassian teams and partners to support to grow our enterprise cloud footprint!
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
- 7+ years Product Management experience at a SaaS company, ideally with a focus on compliance and/or security.
- Proven technical expertise and understanding to deliver on enterprise requirements.
- Customer obsession – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning.
- Experience developing a high-level product strategy and roadmap that can span multiple years, communicating it to customers and executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team behind it.
- A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels and across all areas of the organization.
- Ability to build a compelling business case for new opportunities.
It’s great, but not required:
- BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in Computer Science, technology, IT, or operations
- Experience in taking an Enterprise-grade SaaS product through one or more compliance certifications - HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, and other industry-specific compliance certifications
