The Role
Going against the incumbents in the field, Hippo is revolutionizing the home insurance industry. A part of that is a promise to be more than a standard, reactive insurance company, instead offering a suite of proactive products to create complete piece of mind for our customers.
These new product initiatives are at the heart of Hippo’s growth strategy, with the aim of setting Hippo further apart from the competition. You will define these products - all of which are at an early stage - and aggressively drive to achieve product market fit. By doing so you will not only enhance Hippo's core business objectives, but help set the new standard for the modern, holistic home protection experience.
About You
You are an experienced product manager with proven growth experience and a bias for action. You thrive on the ownership of high-profile full product launches, while influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and making data- driven business decisions. You demonstrate tenacity, resilience, and leadership enabling you to organize and lead projects, overcome challenges, and propose solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Innovate and iterate on Hippo’s growth initiatives.
- Increase conversion of online funnels.
- Work across the Hippo org to drive more traffic to the top of funnel.
- Leverage Hippo’s growth initiatives to improve core Hippo customer experience, conversion and retention.
- Create best-in-class homeowner experiences through innovation, project management and data analysis.
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Operations, Business Development, and Engineering.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a consumer facing product manager, owning and driving significant growth for early stage projects.
- Experience driving AB tests from conception to analysis.
- Mobile web or native app experience a must.
- Demonstrated data analysis capabilities (SQL knowledge a considerable plus).
- Working knowledge of data platforms such as Google Analytics, Heap and Mixpanel.
- Experience leveraging email campaigns to educate customers and drive traffic.
- Creative thinking paired with strong execution.
- Comfort with rapidly changing business needs that is typical of a fast growing company.
- BS degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Startup experience.
- Conducted or participate in user research
- Engineering experience.
