Senior Product Manager - Insights (SF/Bay Area)

We are looking for a senior product manager to join our insights team to own and build analytics products on top of the visual data captured in our platform. You will drive expansion of our products in inspections and earthworks. You will be responsible for finding the most pressing problems for our customers and developing the right tools and workflows that provide the most impactful solutions. You will be responsible for delivering intuitive user experiences that delight and engage customers. DroneDeploy’s insights team is fast moving and will require you to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, sales, and marketing.
About the product team
DroneDeploy’s product team works to bring our disruptive drone technology to market to improve safety and efficiency at scale for every job site. DroneDeploy’s product team is highly customer-focused, and you will learn about various industries and operations of our customers to identify key problems that we could solve for them, and develop a product vision to make the largest impact on the market.
Responsibilities
- Launch new products in collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Marketing
- Deeply understand our customers to develop and communicate roadmaps
- Define metrics to optimize customer experience and make data-driven prioritizations
- Write detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with the sales team to close strategic customer accounts
- Lead with DroneDeploy’s values of Make It Happen, Build Trust, and Simplify
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in product management
- 3+ years of experience designing and shipping user interfaces
- Proven track record of partnering with marketing and sales to deliver business results
- Experience working with customers and building relationships
- Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers and internal audiences
- Ability to drive teams to ship features on aggressive timelines
- Delivered market and competitor analysis that shaped product strategy
- Bias-to-action and ability to make things happen through self-initiatives
Bonus Points
- Deep understanding of the oil and gas, energy, solar power, construction, agriculture, or utilities industries
- Experience working with end-user field productivity tools like Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Procore, Esri
- Experience working with GIS production systems or geospatial software
- Data analysis tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude or BigQuery
- Familiarity with B2B sales
