Job Description

We are looking for a product manager on the Buyer Risk team who is passionate about working with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategies leveraging data and other fraud detection tools to stop fraudsters from their attack. As a product manager, your work will make Wish safer for millions of customers to shop.

What you'll be doing:

• Drive the product strategy and requirement for payment risk and fraud squad

• Lead the ideation, research, design, development, and launch of products that keep our customers’ transactions safe from fraud and reduce Wish’s risk exposure

• Define clear vision and strategy and support the cross-functional team in understanding customer pain points and, develop strong roadmaps, and executing on them

• Create goals for the squad, drive product development with a world-class team of engineers, data scientists, designers to deliver impact for our customers and business. 

• User data and metrics to inform your strategy and success criteria

• Work closely with data, engineering, research, design, finance, compliance, operations, and executive teams to launch new features and products while improving existing ones.

• Communicate and report overall status, primary metrics, essential fraud issues, and solution plans and readiness timelines to senior management and executives

• Establish business cases and projected return on investment to identify and prioritize opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with experience working in payment risk or on other marketplace platforms

• Passionate and knowledgeable about risk & fraud, with strong analytical and technical understandings

• Self-starter with a proven track record of execution and results

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence, and work as part of a team

• Exception communication skills - both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of eCommerce platforms/ marketplaces
