Job Description

Consumer Payments team at Wish is a very lean and nimble team focused on delivering delightful checkout experience for hundreds of millions of value conscious shoppers in more than 160 countries across Android, iOS and web apps. 

As a Senior Product Manager on the consumer payments team, you will play a significant role in developing and executing the strategy of our payments platform including expansion of local payment methods, improving payment acceptance rates and simplifying the checkout experience.

This is a very high visibility role with the opportunity to work on some unique & challenging problems faced by billions of underbanked & unbanked shoppers across the globe. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify & prioritize key problem spaces by leveraging your product expertise and analytical insights

  • Execute on these opportunities by working alongside engineering, design, analytics, risk, legal, compliance, finance and partnership teams to define, drive and manage payments & checkout experience features

  • Work with third-parties including Payment service providers, card networks, issuers, fraud prevention, and other payment-related services to build reliable and valuable integrations to support the business goals

  • Mentor other PMs in the payments team

  • Coordinate and manage tradeoffs between engineering and design to ensure timely releases while delivering impactful results to support business growth

  • Define and analyze key success metrics that measure the value and success of your products

  • Be intensely data driven in prioritizing and evaluating the results of all work

  • Be bold! Develop insights using data and research to create new experiences that fundamentally transform how users interact and shop on Wish

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required

  • 6+ years of experience in product management in a consumer facing role.

  • Experience with payments, check out flows and familiarity with financial regulations are big plus.

  • Experience running A/B tests, evaluating results, and leading post-launch optimizations

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and a data driven approach to problem solving

  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with designers, engineers and data scientists 

  • You have a passionate can-do attitude. Not afraid to try, learn, and improve, ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working at a fast-paced startup

  • Experience working at an ecommerce, digital marketplace or a fintech company
