Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

As a Senior Product Manager at Atlassian, you will advance our mission to unleash the potential in every team and lay the foundations that underpin the success of Atlassian’s cloud business. Join our Cloud Platform Adoption team as we make our platform self-serve for all our products including Jira, Confluence, Trello, Bitbucket and many more!

You will focus on the problems facing our customers who want to take full advantage of the benefits of the Cloud Platform by enabling Atlassian to rapidly build new products and onboard future acquisitions to our Cloud Platform, while driving projects to make the Platform seamless and self-serve. You will also collaborate with Platform Designers, Engineers, Architects and various teams to bring this vision to life via key platform-wide initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with UX Designers, Engineers, Architects and internal teams to bring the vision to life via key platform-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Define and drive requirements for platform self-serve projects by understanding the goals of various product teams
  • Create roadmaps and initiatives to test and improve platform adoptability
  • Define metrics and regularly report on the adoption of self-serve progress
  • Continuously evolve and make platform better through customer feedback on their adoption journey and turning that feedback into tangible projects.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing software company
  • Significant experience defining and launching features that meet the needs of our customers and our business
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities, balance the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Ability to create a compelling vision to inspire your teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics

It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • Experience working on Platform initiatives crafting and delivering stellar technical products and features
  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)
  • Experience working with acquisitions or product integrations would be a plus
  • BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in technology, IT or operations
