Wish is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to lead its efforts to rethink Search that drives ~30% of sales on the Wish platform. In this position, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing a strategy to make search work across millions of listings across scores of categories for various user segments and needs. This is a very high visibility role with the opportunity to have a direct impact on the business and product.
What you'll be doing:
Create new experiences that fundamentally transform how users use our Search function to either find specific products, browse broad categories or anything in between
Partner closely with User Research, Engineering, Data Science and Design teams to think of user intent and segmentation that can lead to different experiences based on the needs of users.
Design and develop new visual ways to present the search results that blend organic results, sponsored listings and other relevant sources.
Bachelor’s degree or higher required
5+ years of product management experience in a consumer facing role.
Experience working on search and an understanding of machine learning algorithms particularly around relevance, and technical aspects like indexing, query understanding etc.
Experience running A/B tests, evaluating results, and leading post-launch optimizations
Strong quantitative analysis skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving
Ability to bring structure and simplicity to complicated problems and communicate clearly and succinctly with stakeholders
You have a passionate can do attitude. Not afraid to try, learn, and improve, ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
Experience working at a startup
Masters Degree in Business, or a quantitative field
