As a Product Manager on the Uber Eats Fulfillment Experience team, you'll play a key role in making Uber Eats the most seamless and trusted way for people to buy from their local stores. How can we give consumers the confidence and flexibility to order from Eats everyday? How can we delight and reward our users, even when real-world complications like weather and traffic get in the way? Ultimately your goal will be to ensure each time an Uber Eats consumer places an order, we fulfill our promise to them, so they can't wait to come back again.
You won't be alone in your endeavors. Rather you'll work with seasoned experts in personalization, machine learning, and ranking across Engineering, Data Science, and Design. In partnership with your colleagues, you'll transform your strategy into a product that scales globally. This involves considering local customer needs, cultural nuance, and competitive environments to help our business grow and retain its loyal user base.
This role is a great fit for a PM with real passion for their customers, great technical depth, principled thinking, well-honed product judgment, bold innovation, a high design bar, and a mentality of starting with the customer first and working backwards.
What You'll Do
• Build experience across the Uber Eats app that empower consumers to get their orders how, where, and when they expect• Scale our guarantees and ratings products to inspire consumer confidence and deliver business impact• Define, own, and execute the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional counterparts.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them -- and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished• Stellar design instincts and product taste.• Experience running experiments to assess the effectiveness of releases
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on consumer-facing products• Customer obsession: a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems• Structured thinking/decision-making skills: You take on complex product challenges and simplify them• Data-informed and data-savvy: You just go get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.• Experience working with diverse partners, including operations teams• Experience working on marketplace products• Full-stack product delivery that includes UX and backend systems
