Xpring is Ripple’s open developer platform for money, and our vision is to bring money to the Internet. We work on open-source projects for fiat and cryptocurrencies. We build tools, offer services, and provide support to developers to make it easy to build on our core open-source technologies: the XRP Ledger and the Interledger Protocol (ILP). We help developers add money into their applications on using XRP and ILP.

Xpring is seeking a Director of Product with a strong technical background, extensive product experience, and expertise in defining and shipping platform products at scale (open-source products are a plus). This role sits at the heart of defining Xpring’s product strategy. In close partnership with leadership and engineering, you will own the product roadmap and help us define our future. You either are already or are eager to become an expert in the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape. You will understand how blockchain developers, platforms, digital asset exchanges and cryptocurrency infrastructure companies operate. You will look beyond what already exists in the market to serve its evolving needs.

This position is full time and is based in our San Francisco office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead the Xpring vision and identify strategic product opportunities to delight developers and to grow product adoption
• Manage a team of Product Managers to identify product requirements and release milestones and drive project execution and delivery
• Define success metrics for the team and drive feature prioritization, process improvements, and product development
• Collaborate with Engineering team, providing them developer and business context and engage at a detailed technical level to build the right products on time

WHAT YOU MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

• 12+ years of overall experience (at least 5+ as a product manager) with top Internet, e-commerce, cloud software and/or financial services companies
• Demonstrable experience building and scaling successful and delightful products
• Experience partnering with engineering
• Proven track record of leading and influencing a Product-driven organization
• Strong interest in blockchain and the mission of Ripple and Xpring
• Developer, platform, open-source or cryptocurrency expertise a strong plus
• A low ego and a high drive to deliver
• An intuitive understanding of how developers work
