About the role

Metromile recently launched a new B2B business venture, Metromile Enterprise, to license its proprietary AI platform to insurance companies in the US and across the globe. We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead Strategy & Operations for this new venture and partner with key stakeholders in technology, sales and consulting to accelerate revenue growth of this new venture.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the overall go-to-market strategy, collaborating with others to formalize the core messaging of the AI platform and marketing to prospective customers. You will also be responsible for identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with other entities in the insurance value chain, and articulating how our business model evolves with these partnerships. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a team environment and is excited to create a new business within Metromile. You've also excelled in both product and relationship-building roles in the past.

You Will

• Partner with sales leaders to develop the go-to-market strategy and develop a replicable and scalable process for execution of the strategy with cross-functional teams
• Identify and understand key customer insights, buyer behavior, and their various lifecycle journeys by performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses across multiple data sets e.g. direct sales interactions, annual reports, industry presentations, analyst transcripts etc.
• Create presentations for C-level audiences at insurance companies across the globe
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and implement strategic partnership opportunities
• Inform and co-lead pricing and packaging in collaboration with product management and sales teams
• Create product marketing collateral (one pagers, whitepapers etc.) that aligns with the core messaging and the go-to-market strategy

About You:

• Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry
• Extensive track record of building complex spreadsheets, models and high-quality presentations
• One of two careers paths:
  • 4-6 years of work experience in management consulting, corporate development, or corporate strategy
  • 4-6 years of work experience in product marketing in the technology industry

Nice to Haves:

• Prior experience at enterprise startups or launching new B2B ventures at established companies
• MBA or a graduate degree in marketing or computer science
