About Your Role: 


As the Platform Product Marketing Manager, your mission is to ensure Sendoso’s sending platform delivers the highest value to customers in our category. You closely partner with our product team to ensure we are innovating and investing in the core pillars that deliver the highest value to the market - leveraging your deep customer and market insights to inform this work. You own the customer and market-facing narrative for the Sendoso platform and bring it to life across all mediums, communication channels, and go-to-market teams including management of all new releases.

  • You are a top-notch project manager - able to manage multiple initiatives at once with speed and high-quality detail.

Your Typical Day:

  • Manage customer and market research to define the Sendoso platform value proposition - resulting in a clear articulation of what Sendoso as the leading sending platform means and why it matters to customers (data validated). How do these pillars become a competitive moat further differentiating Sendoso from other solutions?
  • Work across teams - from product to go-to-market to successfully launch new releases, feature updates, new warehouse, and fulfillment capabilities. Identify and manage programs key to launch success including marketing betas, customer evidence, third-party reviews, content, and ROI studies.
  • Enable teams to speak to Sendoso as a solution that drives true business value for our customers and not a list of features. Create tools and materials that clearly communicate the value to customers (videos, animation, walkthroughs, core use cases).
  • Feature definition and nomenclature. Define what it means for a feature to be complete - going beyond an MVP - and really painting the picture of what the feature must provide to be considered done. 
  • Drive feature naming research for new and existing features so we have cohesive and customer-friendly feature naming nomenclature.
  • Capture measurable benefits (ROI) of Sendoso to customers.

Experience:

  • You have 7+ years of product marketing experience.
  • Expertise at developing differentiated positioning through customer insights, creating buyer personas, capturing the buyer journey.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with experience crafting compelling narratives, sales tools, and content alongside enablement. 
  • Experience working across teams particularly product but also fully comfortable engaging directly with customers.
  • Expertise in synthesizing and prioritizing market, sales, and competitive data to help inform and develop the product roadmap. 
  • Have successfully built systems and processes from the ground up, oftentimes with limited existing structure.
  • Know how to analyze and size market opportunities and drive product and marketing strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Able to be the knowledge expert between cross-functional teams, building an understanding of target audience needs and purchase decision process.
