About the Role
Whether it's a burrito, groceries, or allergy medicine, the UberEats team builds technology to connect people with what they want, when and where they want it. On our Product team, you will envision and execute on new products or product features in order to accelerate the trajectory of Eats globally in a matter of months, not years.
What You'll Do
As a PM on Marketplace Demand Shaping, you'll work with Engineering, Data Science, Product Marketing, and Design counterparts to build innovative products that unlock the speed, selection, and affordability our eaters crave, all while making our marketplace more efficient. Your ultimate goal is to sustainably make Eats an everyday part of eaters' lives.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products.• Prior experience collaborating with data science, design, and engineering to ship products.
Preferred Qualifications
• Passionate about building businesses, not features. Entrepreneurial experience building and leading businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics• Craft a coherent product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Eats group at Uber• Experience partnering closely with data scientists to launch analytically rigorous, Consumer products.• Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly with cross-functional teams to execute decisions while maintaining attention to detail.• Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner.• Superb communication and organization skills.• Attention to detail and willingness to get your hands dirty with messy data to identify product opportunities and uncover interesting product insights.• Have a growth mentality; love solving ambiguous, challenging, and impactful problems.• Technical savviness. Can manifest in different ways: a computer science undergraduate degree, hands-on software engineering experience, or experiences building complex software products side by side with engineers.• You are biased toward action and a great collaborator.
