The Role
The Program Delivery Team forms part of Block's Business Operations function, the function that builds and operates the essential machines that help Block execute its strategy. As a Program Delivery Manager embedded within Square, you'll partner with senior leadership to lead our most complex and important, Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives.
We're looking for leaders with world-class execution capability. The Role

You Will
- Lead the execution of the Square Releases program, our biannual product launch that delivers the most important new features and tools to our sellers. You'll also ensure continuity across Releases, our Feature Log entries, and the Roadmap .
- Define goals and success measures in partnership with SMEs and senior stakeholders
- Lead the execution approach, defining entry/exit criteria, driving Go/No-go decisions, surface risks early, and lead escalations with clear options and tradeoffs and aligning the business to phases and milestones
- Drive impact at the highest levels across the Block through executional leadership
- Build deep relationships, across teams and different levels of the organization
- Lead, plan, execute, and report across multiple disciplines including design, product, engineering, product marketing, customer operations, legal and finance
- Dive deep when necessary, while also being able to communicate at an executive level
- Maintain detailed plans to track the program and synthesize them to advise executive leadership
- Capacity plan across the programs to ensure resources are prioritized and available
- Design and deliver the communications & change management strategy
- Lead and mentor product, product marketing, and engineering program teams across the organizatio
You Have
- You have at least 12 years of program management, consulting, or equivalent experience in Fintech/Financial Services organizations, with experience managing complex projects.
- Leadership in Complex Programs: Experience with leading high-profile, complex programs in a dynamic environment is essential.
- Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Your ability to manage stakeholders at all levels is crucial and just as important as your project management skills.
- Executive Interaction: Experience working with and presenting to Executives is required.
- Resilience and Prioritization: Strong resilience and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities are essential.
- Customer Commitment: A deep commitment to delivering positive outcomes for customers and a passion for shaping the future of Block is a must.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience running complex product launches with cross-functional GTM teams - Product, Product Marketing, Design, Creative, etc.
- Experience leading the GTM of an Enterprise SaaS or Payments company
