Opportunity

UJET is looking for a motivated individual contributor with solid compliance experience to support a growing global data protection and cybersecurity program. Through close collaboration with engineering, customer success, marketing, finance, and other teams, this individual will help us develop and implement a comprehensive set of policies and standards, operating procedures and control activities to support a broadening security compliance framework that includes SOC 2, HIPAA/HITECH, GDPR, EU-US/Swiss-US Privacy Shield, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and other industry-focused data protection and cybersecurity requirements. This individual is expected to be a strong contributor and owner of various aspects of the overall program – an important member of the team. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams across the company to develop near-, mid-, and long-term business continuity and secure development lifecycle strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and support metrics, goals and milestones to communicate progress and the business impact of business continuity and secure development lifecycle programs to executive leadership
  • Document and implement new data protection policies, standards, and processes to align with desired security compliance framework
  • Document and implement internal controls testing and evidence documentation
  • Assist with audits and contribute to the enhancement of the audit program and processes
  • Other responsibilities as identified and assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a Technical or Related Field
  • 2+ years’ experience in business continuity management planning and secure development program requirements
  • 2+ years’ experience in Program or Project Management in the software development industry
  • 1+ years of compliance program/project experience
  • Strong relationship building, communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
  • Process and detail-oriented, yet comfortable with ambiguity
  • Knowledge of standard project management concepts and practices
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA
  • Preferred compliance and audit preparation experience with information security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001)

Personnel acknowledges they are personally responsible for reporting any suspected violations or abuse and are required to complete SDPC training and fulfill role-specific SDPC responsibilities.
