Creative Project Manager/Producer

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Creative Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing seasonal campaigns , product launches, and projects across the marketing, visual design, editorial and social teams. Using our work management tool, you'll manage the timelines and resources to help the cross-functional teams meet deadlines for the season. You'll also think of creative ways to optimize and evolve the current processes. As the key point of contact between marketing and creative, you are an excellent communicator and are extremely proactive. You are enthusiastic to learn, and a natural problem solver who works well in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As the Creative Project Manager, you must be an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic and proactive problem solver who works well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Must be someone who thrives on engagement at all levels of the project, possess an extreme sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability to see a project through from start to finish.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Create and implement workflow and project management processes to make for a smooth, efficient project lifecycle.
- Manage projects from briefing to completion – taking marketing briefs, consolidating marketing needs, assigning creative resources to a project, managing outputs and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Daily oversight of Asana, including proper vetting of briefs, creating project schedules, assigning resources to specific tasks.
- Schedule all meetings (brief kickoffs, creative reviews, recaps, and hindsights)
- Works with cross-functional groups to establish deadlines related to overall department goals, ensures team is aware of key milestone dates
- Shepard the creative review process by taking detailed notes in meetings and ensuring creative work is routed and reviewed in a timely manner
- Facilitates relationships between teams and individuals, moving process forward, finding resources, predicting roadblocks, suggesting solutions and reworking schedules
- Supports the prioritization of competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions
- Creating and managing budgets with external vendors
- Anticipate cadence of incoming requests and track weekly resource schedules, shifting timelines or booking freelancers as needed to ensure we have adequate coverage.
- Tracks activities on projects and establishes a clear path and owners of next steps
- Communicates clearly across projects and people
ABOUT YOU
- 5-9 years of relevant or related working experience
- Experience in the production of integrated campaigns, digital and printed collateral, website development, marketing videos and production, social media assets and other marketing materials
- Able to thrive in an incredibly fast paced creative environment
- Experience at an agency or in-house agency working with various production and creative teams
- Experience managing budgets and vendors
- Proven sense of partnership and client service
- Experience operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
- Experience in fostering seamless cross-functional working relationships in medium sized organizations
- Experience in Asana, Microsoft Office, google Docs and related project/program management applications to drive best practices
- Exceptional organizational skills; able to juggle multiple projects, small and big, on compressed schedules and deadlines
- Able to prioritize projects considering sales, brand, channel and team bandwidth capabilities and goals
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills essential. Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Superior communication skills — proven ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders
- General knowledge and understanding of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- General budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
