Be a part of a highly skilled, creative and collaborative team. The eCommerce Manager, Apparel will own their assigned product categories and will lead the open-to-buy plan, product development and selling process by driving the creation of assortments for all channels. They are the key driver of sales and profit, determine product line assortment & sourcing, establish and maintain competitive pricing & profit margin and directly contribute to the development of marketing campaigns.

Location: San Francisco

Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional experts assemble to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV’s passionate communities.

About You:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a retail buying role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
  • Possess strong knowledge of retail math and business metrics
  • Experience with product development and sourcing for both apparel and/or non-apparel categories
  • Strong negotiator, verbal and written communication skills and a master presenter
  • Collaborative team player who is able to work independently
  • Thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment 
  • Passion for pop culture, anime, and/or fandom
  • Shopify and NetSuite experience a (major) plus
  • Working knowledge of the apparel, accessories, home goods, pop culture, and video gaming industries. 

A day in the life of our eCommerce Manager, Apparel

  • Drive the overall strategic business vision for a category of product
  • Analyze business performance and present strategic next steps to leadership
  • Build product assortments with a data driven mindset
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners
  • Strategically scout new vendors & styles to support key category strategies
  • Partner with vendors and internal eCom team to develop, source, and produce exclusive products
  • Leverage the expertise of cross-functional Data Science partners in building a robust vision for product category
