The newly-formed Financial Access organization expands and enriches connections between Plaid and financial institution partners to create a foundation for new and differentiated products that enable people to have healthier financial lives. This global team enables innovation for data partners by opening access to tools and technology that were previously reserved for technology upstarts.

The Ecosystem Development team, within the Financial Access organization, is looking for an experienced partnerships or account leader who will deepen the relationships necessary to advance data exchange strategies with the largest financial institutions in the United States. In this role, you will help define our strategy for transforming Plaid’s position in the industry, cultivate and deepen relationships with key stakeholders, and execute on partnership expansion opportunities that drive meaningful impact for both Plaid and its partners.

You will collaborate closely with many teams within Financial Access and the broader company, including but not limited to Policy, Product, Legal, Engineering and Communications.   • 15+ years experience in business development, management consulting and/or strategic account management
  • Passion for and experience in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communicators with ability to influence executive-level audiences
  • A product or operational affinity that enables the creation of solutions with partners
  •  Professionals who are positive, collaborative, organized and willing to run through walls to get stuff done
  • Deep domain knowledge with respect to financial services, open banking, and/or the fintech ecosystem is a plus
  • Existing credibility with contacts at larger US financial institutions is a plus
