In this role, with your passion for educating technical professional, you will own the training strategy for HarnessU aimed at creating skilled DevOps professionals by administering a multi-modal training program that combines online eLearning, instructor led training, lab exercises, and more to develop and hone cloud based software release lifecycle skills leveraging the Harness platform. You will need to be forward thinking and creative in your approach to addressing big challenges and embrace novel solutions. A key goal of the university will be to support the scale of customer growth while offloading the burden on CS personnel providing direct training. In this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator, and have the ability to work well with internal stakeholders, peers, and students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and implement the plan for development of the HarnessU platform
  • Maintain content development roadmap and provide periodic reports to cross functional team
  • Determine optimal approach to developing content leveraging SMEs in cross functional teams (SE, SA, Support, PM, etc)
  • Develop templates and guidelines to allow for consistent and through content
  • Build team of content developers and technical trainers with industry expertise
  • Develop a streamlined certification process for partners and DevOps professionals
  • Operationalize and optimize an technical education program using several modalities
  • Help develop requirements for evolving and new curriculum and assessments
  • Develop and nurture relationships with technical marketing, PM and SME leadership
  • Manage logistics and schedules for trainers delivering technical learning paths
  • Collect new data sources and analyze results to determine priority content
  • Analyze success metrics and completion criteria for program and learner trends
  • Coordinate and ensure SME engagement
  • Partner with enablement leader to collaborate on effective use of content
  • Ensure conducive learning environment, team space requirements and facilities

ABOUT YOU

  • 10+ years experience managing new staff in a fast paced and complex environment
  • 7+ years of technical adult learning and education program experience
  • Bachelor degree in technology or equivalent industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with all levels of internal stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in an intense, fast-paced, multinational technology company
  • Proficiency with statistics, data analysis, and business intelligence visual reports a plus
  • Understanding the technical landscape of the software delivery tools and DevOps concepts a plus (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, etc)
  • Understanding or experience with cloud based technologies a plus (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
