Operations @ Scoop

At Scoop, the Operations Team is responsible for managing Scoop’s carpool business and launching new markets and employer partners in a fast, efficient, and impactful way. Operations succeeds by combining business strategy backed by data and a productive get-it-done attitude. The result is a positive experience for commuters and a solution to a real problem for our partners.

The Operations team is focused on building the right infrastructure to scale quickly and efficiently. As we enter new markets we are seeking to hire a Market Launcher who will improve and work on our existing launch playbooks at scale. The Market Launcher will be self-starter who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to be successful with an eye on building scalable processes.

This role will report to the Head of Launch but your responsibilities will have you collaborating across the organization.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with the Head of Launch on expansion efforts across the country
• Own the strategy, execution and performance for bringing employees onto the platform at new customer launches
• Become an expert in Scoop employer launches and form a strong POV on new launch benchmarks that raises the bar for what success looks like
• Quantitatively measure launch success and set new benchmarks for future launches
• Collaborate with the expansion, marketing, and product teams on launch planning and execution

You should have:

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of professional experience
• Experience in strategy, marketing, operations, technology, or related experience in launching new markets (Prior experience at an on-demand or transportation startup a plus)
• Experience in client facing roles and accustomed to objection handling
• Experience managing a team 
• Track record of leading projects and hitting objectives in a team based environment
• Willingness to travel up to 50-75%

• Analytical and data-driven but able to apply intuition to make informed decisions
• Stickler for process and driven to create efficiencies
• Team player that can work cross functionally to drive a project to success
• Ability to translate high-level team objectives into actionable plans
