About this role

Marketplace quality, brand retention and community trust are increasingly becoming core components to how we think about scaling Faire. We are looking for an ambitious candidate who is excited to help enforce minimum standards of marketplace quality to maintain retailer trust, conversion and discoverability as we scale our marketplace. You will work closely with our customers to support marketplace content requests from beginning to end. In this role, you will combine your organizational and communications skills to support operational process and content expertise through supporting a combination of projects across content management, marketplace parity and Trust and Safety. You will provide support to Marketplace Ops Specialists and partner with our Customer Support, Brand Success and Product teams to support our growing brand network and help scale the Faire Marketplace Quality solution. 

What you’ll do 

  • Make it your mission to foster exceptional customer experiences across various marketplace quality initiatives 
  • Serve as the front line, go-to resource for customer questions as it relates to marketplace quality and trust and safety issues
  • Manage content requests including but not limited to catalog quality checks against established Service Level Agreements
  • Stay on top of Faire policies and product offerings in a rapidly changing environment
  • Run and improve audits to ensure content quality and the service brands provide to retailers remain high 
  • Work alongside Marketplace Ops Specialists to help optimize workflows for increased scalability and efficiency 
  • Help advocate customer use-cases, proactively identify customer product needs, and review customer-facing materials 
  • Communicate insights to Operational leadership to ensure feedback is being heard and iterated upon 
  • Influence the development of process and product improvements and review new procedures to improve day-to-day  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1-3 years of Customer Support, Quality Assurance, or related experience
  • Desire a high level of responsibility and impact during the foundational stage 
  • Tenaciously organized, disciplined, and comfortable managing competing priorities with care
  • You are empathetic and have the ability to take initiative in doing the right thing for the customer
  • You are results and systems-oriented with excellent organizational skills 
  • You are a team player and are resilient in the face of challenges, ambiguity, change 
  • Experience with excel and managing large data sets or knowledge of SQL is a bonus!
