Job Description:

The Materials Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring material readiness during all final assembly product builds. The candidate will provide visibility to materials supply, and highlight any potential shortfalls or constraints. In addition, the individual will partner with our contract manufacturers to develop and manage a clear to build plan that projects availability of supply to meet demand. The role requires a proactive, detail oriented, and autonomous approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. The Materials Program Manager will interface with many individuals across the organization, and will have the ability to collaborate well and communicate effectively with all levels of management. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and communicate forecast of materials requirements to suppliers.
  • Manage the MRP to generate demand signals and to minimize inventory risk.
  • Collaborate with sourcing colleagues to assist in price and delivery negotiations and complete risk assessment on critical parts and components.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews with key partners.
  • Understand and communicate key component lead times, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Generate and publish objectives and key results for the materials management process, inclusive of cost and delivery targets.
  • Establish and develop strong working relationships within the Operations team.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the relevant workflows within Netsuite.
  • Report on materials management activities internally, and leverage available analytics to inform changes and improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned within the Supply Chain Operations organization.
