Wing is looking for Operational Program Managers to join our Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has a passion for bringing complex designs into production and demonstrated knowledge of the ability to deliver results as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team. Execution against challenging timelines with laser focus on most critical needs is paramount.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive production deployment of multiple, cross-discipline features and capabilities of the Wing delivery system - including feature prioritization, task management, bug triage, resource assignment, tracking and reporting with clear connection to the organizational commitments and priorities
• Implement and/or improve engineering processes and workflows to increase efficiencies, minimize disruptions and maximize potential while balancing rigor with agility
• Work with other TPMs, Technical Leads (TL) and Product Managers (PM) to collaborate and identify solutions to business objectives while maintaining realistic timelines and achieving predictable outcomes

What You'll Need:

• Strong track-record of effective technical project management skills: NPI, hardware, systems engineering, project planning, status reporting, task scoping & estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, process documentation, priorities alignment, and superb communication skills (technical and non-technical peers and stakeholders)
• Passion for product excellence, depth of technical knowledge and ability to find creative solutions as demonstrated through bringing new complex products to production
• Collaborative team player and creative thinker, ability to adapt to different working styles, changing priorities and unforeseen challenges in a positive and productive way
• Masters / BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related technical discipline
• Overall 10+ years of working experience. Ideally in high volume high quality manufacturing
• Experience dealing with ambiguity within Wing
• Technical skill-set to work well with cross functional management teams and can stand your ground to push back on non-manufacturable scenarios
• Driving yield, productivity, and cost initiatives with OPM/GSM teams into factories
• Record of technical excellence and interaction with vendors
• Fluent English with excellent written communication, management presentation skills, and ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical issues and impacts to supply
• Willing to travel outside of designated country
• Able to work under time pressure and adaptable to flex work hours for international conference calls
• Systematic and organized approach in problem solving and data analysis

Bonus:

• Master’s degree mechanical manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering or related fields
• Background in commercial and/or government aerospace industry program management as well as consumer and/or enterprise software industry program management
• Comfortable working on mid-stage startup projects in an environment of ambiguity and change
