About the Team

Our team creates eye-catching designs that capture and hold our audience’s attention. We create digital, print, and experiential assets across multiple platforms and formats, worldwide. Our key goals are marketing and audience development for our streaming service, our games, our events, and other ancillary products and markets. 

We are the team that creates the brand’s visual identity on both the B2C and corporate side. Our work accelerates audience growth, drives revenue, and is key to the expansion of the Crunchyroll and VRV brands. We build internal and external relationships and have the ability to create innovative campaign assets that significantly impact global growth.

Location: San Francisco

Our headquarters is located in downtown San Francisco, where our group of cross-functional experts assemble to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV’s passionate communities.

About You:

The contract Creative Services Project Manager has strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. You will oversee the design process, ensuring efficient creation and delivery of high-quality design work on time. You must be a talented multi-tasker who is able to track multiple initiatives with complicated deliverables and a demanding approval process. 

  • 5+ years experience as project/program manager or producer, ideally in a design studio or agency environment
  • Familiar with the principles of graphic design production - print, web, merchandise, motion graphics, and visual effects
  • Working knowledge of video production/post-production
  • An interest in anime, pop culture, animation, video games, tech, and geekdom
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with strong experience managing high-volume workflow and overlapping deadlines
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally with internal and external partners
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely
  • Positive and constructive attitude

A day in the life of our Project Manager:

  • Manage a creative request system that organizes incoming work requests
  • Efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across multiple projects for Marketing, Events, Games and/or Corporate stakeholders
  • Manage traffic and workflow within the creative team, and establish best practices for iterative creative work and review
  • Work closely with design leadership to assign and track projects within the team
  • Collaborate across teams to manage timelines, objectives, risks, and prioritization
  • Clearly communicate objectives, status, and results within the team and with stakeholders
  • Facilitate planning discussions with stakeholders to create project roadmaps with clear timelines and deliverables
