About the role:

The Consumer Marketing Engagement Manager plays a very important and strategic role at Grand Rounds. This person is responsible for driving account activation and member utilization of our world class healthcare product. This role is a perfect fit for someone who has a breadth of diverse marketing channel expertise -- who is a natural collaborator with strong EQ -- and who is results driven. This role is both innovative in needing to think about new ideas and ways to engage our members while also thinking about how we scale our tools and resources to be operationally effective. You’ll be responsible for driving member-facing marketing initiatives with large market accounts, including driving brand awareness, growing account registration, and increasing first time use of Grand Rounds' products and services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at being at the center of a fast paced, highly collaborative, performance driven job.


You’ll serve as a Consumer Marketing lead for your large market accounts. At your accounts, you’ll drive the agenda for understanding the target audience, conducting a historical look back to measure campaign effectiveness, and develop strategic communications plans in partnership with our Account Managers. You’ll present at meetings to sell-in campaign ideas, lead creative development, and report out campaign performance. You’ll be responsible for driving utilization at your large market accounts. 


Background on the consumer marketing team:

We’re a lean, fast-paced Consumer Marketing team working hard to develop effective marketing strategies that tie to member needs and are proven to drive member engagement. Our goal as a team is to ensure that millions of eligible members are aware of, register for, and use Grand Rounds' product services for a better, more personalized, healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create an engagement playbook that draws on a breadth of marketing channels/performance -- with a focus on email, direct mail, SMS, digital and our important customer internal channels. 
  • Be the champion of Grand Rounds marketing engagement best practices in order to “sell in” those playbooks to our diverse customer base.
  • Develop best practice case studies and other marketing communication tactics that drive adoption of our marketing tools.
  • Draw insights from members and serve as their voice in product, and communication development 
  • Develop consultative and strategic relationships with our customers on the topic of communications and member marketing
  • Create and execute strategic communications plans for your large market accounts. These plans should include broad-based and targeted campaigns that focus on driving awareness, activation, and utilization of Grand Rounds products and services
  • Develop high-impact, convincing oral and written presentations of creative concepts
  • Measure and share campaign performance to internal (growth marketing, product, and account team) and external (customer) stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in consumer marketing
  • BA or BS required 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills -- able to build credibility with our customer through ‘in person’ meetings and also able to develop written communications that summarize and sell-in our engagement plan recommendations.
  • Superb organization; comfort managing a project from creative inception through execution and into analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, who can work independently and proactively
  • Delight in being detail-focused
  • Data oriented! Be excited to jump into analyses
  • Excitement to develop hypotheses and methods for testing and verification
  • Proficiency in content production especially for social and direct mail channels
  • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to work well cross-departmentally 
  • Passion for the Grand Rounds product suite; belief that our services can transform how we access and utilize health care
