PagerDuty is looking for a Senior Manager to manage strategic Opportunity to Cash (O2C)  projects and programs.  

This individual contributor role will be critical to the governance and execution of O2C programs/projects.  They will be responsible for defining and refining repeatable integration playbooks, especially for O2C and will act as the integration lead for O2C track. A key aspect of this role will be ensuring a consistent approach to all aspects of integration. This will require strong critical thinking and program management skills, with a focus on following a structured playbook and tracking/managing integration activities. Additionally, this individual will be a key liaison for cross-functional business units and will be tasked with developing effective working teams capable of solving complex business goals with successful outcomes.

This role will directly interact with diverse, cross functional teams to drive agendas, push workstream owners, track progress, develop executive readouts, and successfully implement changes that improve and optimize the overall integration results and experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage medium to high complexity projects including the ongoing governance, program management and execution of O2C projects and programs
  • Strategic thought partner for building out repeatable frameworks, improving integration processes, and building an acquisition integration center of excellence especially for O2C
  • Responsible for implementing acquisition integration projects including assessment of required milestones, cross-functional execution, and innovative solution development
  • Evaluate risks and prepare recommendations to senior leadership for optimal integration execution
  • Manage communications across all the project organizations around status, timeline and milestones
  • Develop project plans, resource plans, training and test plans, and cutover plans, applying appropriate project methodology
  • Ensure that business requirements are delivered by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Manage project/program scope, budget, risks and timelines
  • Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Interact with C-Suite, VPs, directors and business leads in groups, 1:1 and through email.
  • Identify critical path and interdependencies that could pose risks to the projects
  • Works well under pressure, be sensitive to deadlines, can interact in a team environment, can adapt quickly to change, deep attention to details and possess excellent customer service skills

  • Determination to build successful business partnerships and work collaboratively across functions
  • Ability to form own point of view and communicate risks and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to focus on process improvement
  • Experience with Agile methodology is desirable
  • Proficiency in any one of the project management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheets, JIRA is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. including the ability to successfully communicate both internally and externally, and within all levels of the organization

Education Requirements:

  • BS/BA or equivalent
  • PMP/Agile certifications preferred

Experience:

  • 8+ Years of experience managing strategic O2C projects & programs that involve collaboration across multiple GTM teams; Must have demonstrated the use of established organizational PM methodologies and tools
  • Prior M&A integration experience, ideally within the technology industry is a plus
  • Extensive program and project management skills with experience managing complex, multi-functional, global programs
  • Experience with working in virtual teams across geographical location and time zones
  • Experience in project/program management, including project design, proposal evaluation, vendor analysis, project reporting, and financial management
  • Experience managing projects with multiple on premise / SaaS technologies / Integrations
  • Experience with technologies like Salesforce.com, or other SaaS Applications is a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst is a plus
