Primary Purpose:

Fanatics, Inc. is seeking an experienced individual to join our fast-growing Marketplace department. The Senior eMarketing Specialist will be knowledgeable and passionate about ecommerce, marketplaces or digital advertising. The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years’ experience selling products online, experience working with Amazon, eBay and other leading Marketplaces is preferred but not required. The Senior Specialist will drive key initiatives for the Marketplace channel, collaborating with multiple internal product teams to drive new partner integration projects while developing & streamlining marketplace processes to improve efficiency. The candidate should display aptitude in relationship management & be comfortable holding conversations with important and strategic partners as well as senior internal stakeholders. Strong project management skills are needed for this role.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced ecommerce specialist with technical prowess & commercial awareness to help develop the marketplace strategy to achieve both long & short-term goals. The individual will have the chance to expand their already expansive knowledge of the wider emarketing industry from a world-class team, improving their analysis skills and ability to provide insight on trends whilst working on a highly visible marketing channel. The candidate must enjoy solving technical problems and creating, analyzing and improving processes. They should be highly analytical, organized and goal oriented. The candidate should also like working in a fast-paced environment. Keeping up with pro and collegiate sports is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports that provide valuable metrics for marketplace management and operational decisions.

· Project manage new marketplace integrations from beginning to end, ensuring deadlines are met & process and decisions are documented.

· Provide detailed insight into daily, weekly and monthly reports & identify & interpret valuable metrics for advertising and operational decisions.

· Create and update rules to optimize & manipulate product catalog metadata.

· Successfully coordinate, direct & aid multiple stakeholders across the business toward project goals.

· Work closely with product team to ensure key features are released and rolled out according to plan.

· Develop an understanding of the different facets of the business and deliver & share knowledge when needed.

· Create, map & improve technical processes to improve the efficiency of the marketplace business.

· Nurture and maintain external relationships, providing timely, accurate information on performance, whilst communicating their requirements and needs back to the business.

· Collaborate with the analytics and business intelligence team to build actionable reports to make rational business decisions.

· Assist feeds marketing team in maintaining and developing the Marketplace portfolio product feeds.

· Develop initiatives to meet key online marketplace KPI goals including revenue and ROI.

· Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing tools (Channel Advisor, DSCO & Commerce hub) and reporting/analysis platforms (Tableau, SQL, Excel).

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

· Working knowledge of marketplaces and marketplace/ecommerce management tools.

· 2-3 Years’ experience selling via Ecommerce channels (Marketplaces or working with Marketplace management/integration platforms advantageous).

· Well versed in business reporting and can make decisions based on numerical data.

· Experience working with large product catalogs desirable (preferably fashion/clothing/sportswear).

· High Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)

· Familiarity accessing data & utilizing large databases using SQL highly desired.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Strong commitment to learn new marketplace & marketing techniques and strategies.

· Team player showing proven ability to work cross functionally with technology product managers and product developers to facilitate product enhancements. 

· Strong quantitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods, qualitative methods, and quantitative analysis techniques.

· Commitment to learning new and changing industry developments and best practices

· Exceedingly detail oriented and responsible 

· Ability to change focus easily and multitask

· Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines

· Willing to work across multiple time zones and coordinate with teams worldwide when needed.

· Must be willing to dedicate time outside of normal business hours to launch advertising for major sporting events (i.e. College National Championships, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, etc.)
