The opportunity

As an Account Manager in Unity’s new Solutions group, you’ll join a diverse team responsible for leading custom programs and projects for our global Games clients that are based in North America. The Solutions team works with Unity customers over the long term to transform their projects, businesses and product lines.

You will be the main client liaison for our team, helping us build and nurture long-term partnerships that produce industry-changing advances. This will involve communicating our unique value proposition to people with a range of roles from Studio Managers and Senior Management to technical specialists, navigating complex organizations, building trusted relationships, uncovering areas where Solutions provides value and fueling excitement about working together. You will be a major contributor and accountable for bringing in projects and accounts that drive success for the Solutions team.

You will be expected to have a deep understanding of how software is crafted and developed, with particular insights into the power of using Unity’s RT3D engine, the expertise in Unity engineering skills, our ecosystem of partners and the strength and breadth of all Unity products. We’re looking for creative solutions-oriented business and technology leaders who can coalesce an inspired program for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

• Identify new prospects and target accounts in partnership with internal BD and sales teams
• Work with internal partners to develop proposals and project budgets
• Closely align with the business on customer strategy and vision in order to optimize our client relationships
• Provide feedback based on what you are hearing in the market to help the company learn and adjust its strategy and product development opportunities
• Be the knowledgeable, dedicated and connecting project champion representing the client and end user internally and Unity and the Solutions team externally

What we’re looking for

• Relevant leadership experience in either professional services, product or custom software development, delivering high quality results
• Proven history of success in business development roles with a strong professional network that can be used to create new opportunities
• Detailed knowledge of the Games ecosystem, executive or key contacts in the Games industry
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Desire to continuously learn and improve, and engage forward-thinking clients
