About the Job

    • As the Program Manager for Information Security, you will support or lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. This includes managing the security program, project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders, while keeping all the players coordinated on progress and deadlines.
    • You will need to have a technical understanding of security vulnerabilities to assist in the accurate triage and classification of incoming reports.
    • You are comfortable with interfacing with external vendors and managing projects that span internal and external resources.
    • You will work across organizational teams on ensuring applicable industry standards and best practices are understood, including identifying gaps and proposing changes to existing policy, systems and process frameworks as required.

    Responsibilities

    • Engage with product and engineering teams to understand and prioritize security-related projects and tasks.
    • Manage the inflow of security issues and ensure that issues are correctly classified according to external severity classifications and internal impact.
    • Manage incident response for high-priority advisories, potential breaches, and external inquiries 
    • Build, implement, and/or maintain internal reporting systems for security related issues
    • Manage third-party audits and related work.
    • Contribute to security policies and internal security training programs

    Education / Experience Requirements

    • BA/BS degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field or equivalent practical experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with highly collaborative working style
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, able to bridge between technical details to the value of security to business stakeholders
    • Highly organized, able to manage time and multiple types of planning artifacts
    • 3+ years of experience with Penetration Testing, Offensive Security Testing, and Threat and Vulnerability Management.
    • Experience with CVSS scoring and rescoring, and translation to business priorities.
    • 3+ years managing medium to large scale projects
    • 3+ years experience with AWS IaaS services (EC2, RDS, and similar)
    • Prior experience reading source code is desirable
    • Experience with building and maintaining security reporting infrastructure
    • Security certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA are strongly desired
