Senior Program Manager (Multiple Locations)

Evidation’s Senior Program Manager is responsible for engaging external sponsors and managing internal team members throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure that contractual and relationship commitments to sponsors and stakeholders are fully realized. You will be expected to make use of a highly refined set of interpersonal and program management skills to ensure that large, complex programs are delivered on time, and within budget.
This role requires a broad range of skills, including, but not limited to, relationship management, cross-functional communications, resource analysis, complex problem solving, project scoping, and team building. The individual who is successful in this role will blend a high aptitude, with advanced problem solving, interpersonal, and program management skills. We are looking for individuals who excel in a team oriented environment, and know when to take control of a situation in order to drive a team to a desired outcome.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exemplify essential program management skills including: program communication; development of implementation strategies, timelines and milestones; resource and budget planning; and risk identification/mitigation
- Ensure delivery quality by identifying quality standards/requirements and monitoring delivery quality standards throughout the program lifecycle
- Demonstrate creative problem solving in situations with ambiguity in order to ensure forward delivery progress in a timely manner.
- Own the analysis and reporting of various operational aspects of projects to help drive decision making throughout the course of the program
- Liaise with sponsors and work with internal leadership to staff and support external facing program committee activities
- Develop relationships across internal teams in order to more quickly, and effectively resolve issues, or mitigate risks, that may come up during delivery
- Recognize when issues need to be escalated to senior management in a timely manner, and work with senior management to propose and action resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional leads (technical, product, etc.) and other stakeholders to ensure that delivery is properly coordinated across internal delivery teams.
- Monitor progress against the program SOW and prepare/present program and/or sub-team information proactively to stakeholders (internally and externally)
- Manage and oversee team activities including appropriate resourcing of staff, staff assignments, quality control and the quality of program/project deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS
- At least 7 years of account management, project/program management, or consulting experience in healthcare or research setting
- Mastery of project management skills and tools
- Extensive experience, and a successful track record, working in client facing roles
- Experience interfacing with Program Director/Senior Program Officer level and above in government organizations
- Experience interfacing with Director level and above in internal and external organizations
- Experience managing grant funded programs
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with leadership teams and engaging internal and external leadership in project planning and delivery activities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong team player with proven ability to lead through influence
- Experience developing and deploying new processes for effective scaling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with pharmaceutical, digital health, or healthcare projects/programs
- Start-up experience with companies or large research programs
- Experience managing grant funded programs of $5M+
- Program management certifications/ training
