OVERVIEW
At Instacart we solve for the customer. That extends beyond the hundreds of thousands of consumers we deliver groceries to and includes many leading and emerging consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertisers that want to shape how consumers perceive, shop, and stay loyal to their brands. Instacart’s Brand Partnerships team is focused on serving these clients through our native advertising platform.
We are hiring a Project Manager to help bring Instacart advertising to new global markets, new categories of advertisers, and to new surfaces. This role will work with key stakeholders to understand what operational requirements exist to expand Instacart Ads, project manage the execution of those expansions, and build repeatable processes to enable scalable future launches.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, Sales Operations, Ads Insights, Legal, Product - Ads, Product - International, Engineering, Finance, Data Operations, and HR to develop and maintain an understanding of what is required to launch Ads in a new geography or a new regulated category
- Create and manage a comprehensive project plan that outlines key milestones and key dates to support the expansion
- Communicate updates and escalate roadblocks to leadership
- Build playbooks to facilitate the launch of additional new verticals and new geographies
ABOUT YOU
- 6+ years of experience in a relevant field with demonstrated project management experience and a track record for working cross functionally
- 2+ years experience project managing launches of new services, geographies, or verticals
- Project management certification
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with many teams and multi-tasks with a sense of urgency
- Ability to indirectly influence team members without direct reporting lines
- An interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities, and a willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed
