About Your Team

The Engineering Program Management Team at Ike acts as the company’s internal “glue” by communicating and coordinating across all teams including software, systems, and hardware engineering, product, operations, and business to drive multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives from conception to successful delivery.

About Your Role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to join us. In this impactful role you are responsible for helping the company deliver complex and strategic cross-functional projects. 

About Your Work

  • Define timelines/milestones, identify/mitigate risks, allocate resources, track progress, resolve dependencies, unblock progress etc.
  • Advise and drive technical interface decisions across software functions
  • Regularly communicate progress to company leadership and program stakeholders
  • Implement and drive adoption of new and existing frameworks, tools, and best practices throughout the company

About You

  • You have extensive software program management and/or project management experience bringing complex software/hardware products to market
  • You have demonstrated excellence in setting up program milestones and managing critical paths for complex programs on tight deadlines
  • You have advanced knowledge and understanding of software development cycles and experience working on highly complex products
  • You are discerning. You have a keen ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent tasks
  • You are an effective written and verbal communicator who collaborates equally well with engineers, executives and external partners. You are able to provide succinct and accurate executive summaries of complicated situations and drive what matters
  • You have start-up DNA: You have demonstrated an ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a fast-paced, startup environment

Nice to haves

  • Experience working in the robotics and/or self driving industries
