About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help Nuro deliver complex and strategic multi-functional software engineering projects.

About the Work

  • Act as the internal “glue” by communicating and coordinating across all teams including software and hardware engineering, product, operations, and business to drive multiple complexes, cross-functional initiatives 

  • Lead technical reviews, synthesize results, and build actions to resolve product issues

  • Develop requirements, define timelines/milestones, identify/mitigate risks, allocate resources, track progress, resolve dependencies, unblock progress etc.

  • Regularly communicate progress to company leadership and program partners

  • Support the development of critical projects including robotic simulation, data processing and analysis, and internal tool development

About You

  • You have technical program management and/or project management experience bringing complex software products to market

  • You collaborate well with others and take pride in helping teams succeed

  • You have experience working on high reliability, customer facing infrastructure

  • You are keenly discerning with an ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent tasks

  • You have start-up DNA: You have shown the ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment or have the DNA to do so

  • You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, and/or equivalent technical experience/aptitude

  • You have a real passion for helping drive the delivery of creative products leveraging AI, robotics and/or machine learning

Bonus Points

  • Experience with large scale distributed systems

  • Experience in simulation
