General Purpose:

  • Responsible for managing Corsair’s new product programs from development to delivery. Coordinate manufacturing preparation activities and collaborate with manufacturing planning to develop implementation time-lines.
  • Program Management for all of Corsair’s New Product Introduction.
  • Work with Supply Chain management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Manages projects, or specific activities related to Corsair’s New Products projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project
  • Drive ODMs, engineering, supply chain planning, and operations management to ensure materials, tools, equipment, training, and documentation plans are in place to support pre-production, and production builds
  • Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risks and status clearly and succinctly
  • Allocates work among core team members, subcontractors, ODMs and provides guidance on a regular basis
  • Conducts periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews
  • Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis
  • Utilize relevant project management tools such as Smartsheet’s and/or Omnify, MS Project and applications to track projects
  • Defines support, and drive process improvements
  • Manages the hand-off between R&D and Product Engineering to meet cost and design targets in an efficient way

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement
  • Good understanding of business goals and strategy
  • Understands impact of emerging and new business trends and their implications for Corsair and its customers
  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Desired knowledge of system level design and manufacturability
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
