Sr. Program Manager, Expansions
OVERVIEW
About the Expansions Team: We directly support Instacart’s initiative of becoming “the world leader in online groceries.” We’re the Operations leaders in launching new markets & adapting our service as we expand globally. Within our existing markets we drive scalability of services to achieve same-store growth. In partnership with cross-functional technical & non-technical teams, the Expansions team executes company mandated growth initiatives, drives proactive opportunities and influences decisions that will have an impact on our core operations or long term scalability.

ABOUT THE JOB
- You will own launching International markets from an Operations perspective
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Sales and Legal teams on building go-to-market strategies for multiple new markets. Iterating with each launch.
- Project manage the E2E operational execution of launching these new markets, delivering results that exceed our launch KPIs
- Help drive product decisions impacting our operations and scalability
- Analyze financial data & core operations metrics to drive key decisions on scaling our service to new markets
- Develop and grow your team, as needed, to meet the needs of our company growth goals
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of operations or product management, including 2+ years leading expansion efforts or similar. Startup experience a plus
- Data driven problem solver with strong analytical skills. Experience in analyzing complex data to drive key business decisions
- Entrepreneurial, creativity in problem solving and inspired by an ever-changing environment
- Experience working with product & engineering teams on long term initiatives
- Track record of successful cross-functional project management & process improvement
- Proficiency in SQL or equivalent
- Willingness to travel (0-25%)
