About the Role

The Strategic Alliances Manager will identify, negotiate, and execute on building Comfy’s key strategic alliances and own the day-to-day management and relationship building with Comfy’s partners. As they grow into the role, the Strategic Alliance Manager will become increasingly responsible for shaping the alliance growth strategy of Comfy as well as other strategic initiatives.

Specifically you will:

  • Drive enablement and ongoing management & success of an expanding ecosystem of partners
  • Understand, develop, and communicate strategic joint value maps internally and externally around the mutual benefit of partnering with Comfy
  • Work cross-functionally with the sales team on joint sales pursuits, the product team to define product priorities and roadmap, and the marketing team to define partner marketing initiatives
  • Work with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with all levels of management internally and externally to strengthen alliances and maximize the benefit for Comfy and its partners
  • Develop new business opportunities, independently managing the negotiation process from exploration, discussion, contracts, execution, marketing, and launch.
  • Manage executive-level contacts with key partners, including QBRs and CEO/COO level meetings
  • Lead complex negotiation with our strategic partners
  • Develop strategies and business plans with partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive growth, revenue, and marketing
  • Update and maintain proper reporting metrics and deal management. Perform quarterly partner reviews of established goals with Comfy and Siemens leadership
  • Enable partners through virtual and in-person demos & training. Work with marketing to create tools to drive awareness and pipeline such as partner campaigns, collateral, webinars, and events

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in partner management, management consulting, investment banking, or a relevant start-up
  • Strong analytical & organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
  • Track record in recruiting, onboarding and enabling enterprise-level partners
  • Experience presenting and building relationships with internal and external Executive Leadership Teams; selling to multiple-stakeholders, with a C-Level approver 
  • Experience in managing complex accounts/alliances
  • Proven ability to deliver C-Level presentations outlining value-based business cases
  • Experience building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Hunger for challenge and opportunity
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
