As a Strategy Consultant, you will work with our customers to define and drive transformational solutions using the Clari product to optimize Revenue Operations. You will understand current state and challenges, and then propose future capability, processes, best practices and change programs. You will work with key executives (CRO, CFO, CEO, CMO, CCO), sales leaders, sales operations leaders and key influencers in conducting your work. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in sales operations/revenue operations, the use of SFDC and other CRM tools, and operations consulting. You are curious, consultative, well organized, and excited about working in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time work from home opportunity and we will consider candidates in the Pacific time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Work with new customers to understand their use cases, gather requirements, develop a tailored strategy using Clari to optimize their revenue operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer champions, including VP Sales Operations/Revenue Operations, VP Sales, CRO, CFO, CMO, CEO, CCO and top reps/managers
- Develop and deliver thought leadership and best practices to optimize Revenue outcomes
- Facilitate a smooth hand off from the pre-sales team once a customer chooses to partner with us
- Proactively engage clients to drive product adoption and optimal product experiencesTrain project stakeholders on implemented functionality and ensure that they are operationalizing the change to achieve better revenue outcomes
- Document and communicate findings from customer interactionsEnsure the customer will be a positive reference to other customers/prospects
- Facilitate a smooth hand off to the Customer Success & Support teamsDevelop and maintain product expertise, including best practices to provide value to customers
- Collaborate on internal and external product knowledge
- Build strong cross-functional relationships, working with Sales, Customer Success and Support, Product Management, and Engineering
- Share your product expertise with the Product and Engineering teams to drive product improvements and contribute to the product roadmap
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations/Revenue Operations and SFDC/CRM
- Successful track record implementing SaaS applications into complex enterprise environments
- Experience in territory/account planning, pipeline generation & management, sales methodologies, forecasting, overlay forecasting, product forecasting, renewals & churn, account management, sales enablement, revenue operation metrics, prioritizing and communicating business objectives to the field
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering
- Superior communications skills (presentation, written, and verbal) and demonstrated ability to communicate/present effectively at all levels of the organization including the C-suite
- Unique balance of technical and consulting skills, as well as pre- and post-sales knowledge
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experience; customer-focused, enthusiastic, positive and service-orientedAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- Strong analytical skills, coupled with the ability to think “outside-the-box”
- Team player, enjoys working hard, exhibits professionalism, is dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations
