What you’ll do 

  • Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the supply chain network and production cycle to determine required materials purchases. 
  • Obtains materials using Engineering and Production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels for prototype and/or production builds. 
  • Understands trade-off in cost and supply with effective negotiation skill. 
  • Evaluates vendor qualifications and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or production/planning environment. Preferably in Semiconductor and/or Consumer Electronics, and ElectronicsManufacturing Services (EMS) industry. 
  • Represents supply chain team on cross-functional teams that focus on supply challenges, and to ensure internal/external customer needs are satisfied. 
  • Proven ability to nurture partnerships and excel on a cross functional team with product management, manufacturing partners as well as with legal, finance, and product support functions.
  • Regularly evaluate cost and performance, encourages and coordinates early components supplier involvement on new product designs to optimize cost, manufacturability and supply chain resiliency.
  • Manages and drives overseas contract manufacturers to adhere to a preferred set of processes and behaviors.
  • Minimum Education: BA/BS/MS degree in Business or a technical field listed herein (but not limited to) the following: Industrial Engineering, OperationsResearch, Supply Chain Management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills and professional level of emotional intelligence necessary to achieve the desired objective deliverables. 
  • Proven experience of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with history of successful deployment and implementation of various cost and inventory management. 
  • Exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. Native Mandarin speaker preferred.
