 What you’ll do:

This position is the primary interface between the eero manufacturing organization and eero’s contract manufacturing partners. Eero partners with contract manufacturers based in Asia and with distribution partners in active sales markets. The supply chain program manager works with our partners to reduce risk and ensure ongoing operations support eero’s revenue and cost financial targets. The supply chain program manager will have the opportunity to design and implement the operational and business management processes with partners in eero’s supply chain. 

 We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Coordinate contract manufacturer to effectively manage product transitions – manage business coordination of ECO and Deviation release including materials management and firmware changes
  • Act as buyer and place weekly PO’s to contract manufacturer(s)
  • Coordinate all monthly business management processes with partners (pricing, purchase price variance, non-recurring expenses, shortage reports, forecast, quarterly business review)
  • Drive actions and negotiate with partners to minimize excess, obsolescence and scrap costs
  • Collaborate with Amazon’s global OEM business team to shape eero’s long term contract manufacturing strategy
  • Run RFQ process for new programs, including negotiating contracts with our manufacturers
  • Be a leader in driving the integration of eero into Amazon’s automated supply chain tools, and act as a key member of numerous internal and business to business automation projects
  • Balance the competing requirements of level loading eero’s contract manufacturer’s plant while satisfying customer demands
  • Ensure engineers have the support required on CM and JDM programs by leveraging commercial terms to provide the right incentives to manufacturing partners
  • Analyze and ensure manufacturing readiness for demand uncertainty (upside and downside risks); ensure Contract Manufacturer and Distributor flexibility while meeting contractual obligations
  • Manage supply chain performance metrics, tracking root cause of product delays over time and drive continual improvement in customer delivery predictability


Minimum required skills & traits:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • Experience working with Asia or US based contract manufacturers
  •  NetSuite knowledge & experience a plus
  • Must have ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively while bringing calm to a sometimes chaotic environment
  • Contracting and/or legal experience
  • Must be a self-starter and possess excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the confidence to manage manufacturing partners
  • Professional Certifications a plus (e.g. APICS)
  • Highly analytical and capable of communicating effectively with customers and senior management.
  • Person must maintain stability in operations in the face of naturally fluctuating customer demand
  • Travel 2-3 weeks per quarter to China manufacturing partners
